Welcome to Thornbank Guest House. Our well furnished and decorated B&B, in the South West of Scotland. We can offer our guests three deluxe en-suite bedrooms, offering comfortable accommodation. You are assured of a warm welcome at Thornbank House upon arrival.  Thornbank House is well situated to explore the beautiful Rhins of Galloway and the surrounding region. Not for nothing is Galloway known as 'Scotland In Miniature'! We have our own glens, lochs, beautiful coastline, intriguing forest trails, golfing galore, pony trekking, mountain biking, sea angling and more!  Thornbank is located a two minute drive to the town center or a ten minute walk along the sea front. Scenic walks can be taken in the local area and day trips to belfast are made easier by the frequent ferries which sail from Cairnryan, a ten minute drive from Stranraer.  The bright and airy rooms have en-suite bathrooms, one with jacuzzi bath and separate shower and the other two with large walk-in showers.  All our rooms have beautiful sea views and one with a balcony boasting panoramic views over the loch with the Galloway Hills as a back drop. There is complimentary bottled water, tea and coffee making facilities, large flat screen tv with free sat and free wireless internet. Pool towels and robes are provided for the swimming pool, hot tub and sauna facilitites.
